Four Shadows Vineyard & Winery

Four Shadows Vineyard and Winery is a family-owned vineyard nestled in Penticton, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. The name “Four Shadows” is a nod to the Borren family’s four sons, who helped to restore the neglected vineyard when it was purchased in 2011. After selling grapes to other producers for six seasons, the Borrens began their winemaking adventure in 2017, and opened the doors to their tasting room in 2019. The winery is now well-regarded for its commitment to producing premium wines from the region’s distinctive terroir. Situated on the southern end of the Naramata Bench, the estate benefits from the Okanagan Valley’s warm, sunny days and cool nights. This climate, along with the region’s diverse soil types and microclimates, allows for a number of grape varieties to thrive, contributing to the winery’s selection of award winning wines. Each wine at Four Shadows is crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes, including Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and Merlot. The family and their small group of long-term staff enjoy making guests feel at home in the tasting room while they learn about the wines and history of Four Shadows.
