Stag’s Hollow Winery

We Are Celebrating 30 Years of Winemaking in Okanagan Falls, BC – a remarkable milestone for our small, family-owned winery. From its humble beginnings as one of the region’s first wineries to its status today as a trailblazer in sustainable and innovative viticulture, our winery remains deeply rooted in its commitment to distinctive wines, environmental stewardship and community connection.

Founded in 1995 by Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger, Stag’s Hollow was born out of a passion for pushing the limits of both winegrowing and winemaking using grapes, both new and old, suited to the area’s soils and microclimate. As just the third winery in the area at the time, Stag’s Hollow quickly distinguished itself by embracing varietals uncommon to the Okanagan, such as Albariño, Tempranillo, Teroldego, Vidal and Dolcetto. Their commitment to quality laid the foundation for the winery’s reputation as an innovator, crafting wines that delighted both traditionalists and explorers of new tastes.

In 2019, new owner Eric Liu brought with him a fresh perspective and a deep respect for the legacy that Larry and Linda had built while bringing his own vision to the winery. Under his guidance and the craftsmanship of Winemaker Keira LeFranc, Stag’s Hollow has flourished, producing a portfolio of award-winning wines that showcase the unique terroir of Okanagan Falls. Everything grown is tended to by-hand by a very small team of incredibly hard-working and passionate people. Their dedication to growing 100% BC grapes is the driving force behind every bottle of wine we produce.

As Stag’s Hollow enters its fourth decade, it continues to push boundaries, blending innovation, sustainability, and tradition to redefine what’s possible in winemaking.
